Battery Protector Fuse

All Rigid Vehicles  

It is important that all vehicles have this style of Fuse Assembly fitted very close to the vehicles battery as this helps prevents serious damage to the battery or vehicles electrics in the event of a dead short on the tail lifts wiring or power pack.

Tractor Units & Trailers

In our opinion it is vital that this style of Battery Protector Fuse is fitted onto all Tractor Units which use their own batteries to power a Tail Lift fitted onto a trailer.

Severe damage to the Tractor Units wiring will occur if this Protector Fuse is not fitted and the Tail Lift Power Leads are accidentally left plugged-in in transit and become snagged. A dead short will occur which will probably burn out the Tractor Units wiring and could result in a fire.
